The Peat Bank is open from Monday 22nd November 2020
The HS2 work along the Peat Bank have now finished and the bank has been reopened to fish. Access to the Peat Bank is still via a security gate that can be accessed from the No2 “Rocks” car park. You will have to show your HAS membership card to gain access. If there is no Guard by the gate, look to the left of the gate and you will see a shelter (next to the public footpath), let the Guards know you want to come in and they will come down and open the gate for you.

As we go into 'Lockdown 2' the Anglers Trust have confirmed the Government have deemed Angling a permissible form of ‘outdoor recreation’, and a lawful reason to leave home. It can take place without time limits, within the provision of allowing people "to visit a public outdoor space for the purposes of open air recreation". Competitive match-fishing is forbidden and the Government have advised against travelling long distances to fish. The Harrow Angling Society Covid-19 rules are still in place and will be strictly enforced by the Society Bailiffs.
Given the current Covid situation it is possible the Government may 'tweak' some of the lockdown rules/restrictions, it is therefore important you look at your e-mails, HAS website and the HAS Facebook page to find the latest updates regards fishing HAS waters.
The Committee hope you and your family keep safe during this latest lockdown and you manage to get out and enjoy your fishing.
